AFSearch lets you password protect the Index in the main menu. The trial version shows only five results, though, and it searches only for certain file types. In our testing, the functionality didnt beat the built in search functions of Windows, and the interface was brusque to the point of being opaque. If youre not satisfied with Windows search, however, this might be worth a try.
